Realme will attend its first MWC in Barcelona but the phone-focused event has been canceled due to coronavirus. However, the company will continue its launch in Madrid for its first flagship 5G phone, the Realme X50 Pro 5G.
This event is called ‘Speed of the Future’ and you can watch live broadcasts here. This follows the regular X50, which has just been confirmed for China.

What was expected
Unlike some launches, Realme has revealed quite a lot of information about the phone, but you will want to watch the live broadcast for more specifications as well as details about the release date and price.
For starters, it’s no secret that this event is for the X50 Pro 5G, which will be the company’s first flagship smartphone to support the 5G network. Realme says it will be the first 5G phone in India. Read our guide to What is 5G?
Realme has also announced various details about the phone before launch so we know it will come in Rust Red and Moss Green colors.
This phone will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G processor features ‘dual mode 5G’ which means it will support Sub-6 and mmWave technology versions.
It might have the same 6.57in screen as the usual X50 but we know that the Pro 5G model will offer a refresh rate of 90Hz on the screen. Reality also promotes 65W ‘Super DartCharge’ fast charging defeat (which has nothing to do with London Dartford bridge crossing payments’.
The Realme X50 Pro 5G will have a total of six cameras with four at the back and two at the front. The front will be a dual-ultrawide selfie camera. There will be a zoom of up to 20x and on Twitter, the company seems to have provided some specifications and details for the rear camera, as follows:
